There’s so much going on in the world right now. Where do you begin? Where are the words? But what I do know and feel is that…

The jig is up.

We all matter. We all have a voice that needs to speak and be heard.

We all have the right to express ourselves. We all need to be seen and heard.

The jig is up.

The only reason some of us find it difficult to be seen and heard is that we had our confidence and well-being kicked out of us at some point in our lives. It’s not because you don’t have it within you. It’s not because there’s something wrong or defective about you.

That jig is up.

We've suppressed our confidence and voice because we're afraid of what might happen if our ideas are seen or heard. We’re afraid we'll die!

But the jig is up.

At some point we have to move our attention away from our heroes – the people we think do everything better than us - the people we think are born with gifts and talents. We have to turn our worship from them to honoring and worshipping ourselves. We have to find our own voice because it’s there. We are all originals. We have all been given gifts. Honor them.

That jig is up.

We have to understand our fear – that fear is normal. And that we can't keep hiding behind it. There are no more excuses. We all have stuff to do and share with the world. We have important things to say about what’s going on in the world and our own life. We have to stop hiding behind our fear. We have to stop being boring.

Yes, You, Me, all of us - No exceptions.

That jig is definitely up.

You do not have to live the same old life…you can announce that you made a mistake and that things have to change even though you don’t know how to make it happen.

Yes, that jig is up.

We have to stay awake and alert to what’s going on around us and pick up and listen carefully to the signals that want to move us to what’s clean and true for us. There is no room for dullness. We have to wake up and be conscious. We can’t keep ourselves in the dark.

No-one is coming to save us. We have to lead our own lives.

This is why I’m here. This is why I do what I do. I can help you understand how you can come alive to who you really are underneath all of that fear. I can help you find your voice and how to show up so that you can lay your head on your pillow at night and say…I’m proud of my efforts…of showing up…speaking up…taking the risk, of knowing that I’m moving toward the vision I have for my life.

I want to change so much about what’s going on in the world, but there is a lot of things I can’t do. But what I can do is help and inspire others to come out of the shade, stop hiding, and create a beautiful and honest vision for their life.

There’s no better time. Let’s go.

The jig is over.
